Coco Plums Travel
Privacy Policy
How Coco Plums Travel collects, uses, shares and protects personal information.
Effective July 21, 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information handled by Optimum Group LLC, doing business as Coco Plums Travel (“Coco Plums,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), through our websites, booking services and customer support. A travel supplier or linked service may separately control information it receives and will apply its own privacy policy.
2. Information we collect
Depending on how you use our services, we may collect:
- identity and contact details, such as name, date of birth, email, telephone number and address
- traveler details, preferences, loyalty numbers and information needed for accessibility or special requests
- booking details, itineraries, supplier references, changes, cancellations and support communications
- payment-related information, such as billing details, transaction status and processor tokens; card security codes are not retained after authorization
- device, browser, IP address, approximate location, referral, interaction, cookie and diagnostic data
- fraud-prevention, identity-verification and legal-compliance information
If you provide information about another person, you confirm that you are authorized to do so and will direct them to this Policy. Avoid providing sensitive information unless it is necessary for a requested travel service.
3. How we use information
We use personal information to search and arrange travel, process and reconcile payments, issue confirmations, service bookings, communicate schedule or account information, provide support, prevent fraud, secure and improve our services, maintain business records, comply with law and resolve disputes.
We may send marketing only where permitted and with any consent required by law. You may opt out of marketing without losing booking-related communications.
5. International processing
Travel is international by nature. Information may be processed in The Bahamas, a supplier’s destination, the country where a service provider operates, or another country with different privacy laws. We use contractual, technical and organizational measures appropriate to the transfer and service involved.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain booking and financial records, meet tax, accounting, fraud-prevention and legal obligations, and handle claims. Retention periods vary by record type and applicable requirement. We delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably needed, subject to secure backup cycles and legal holds.
7. Security and payment data
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and service. No internet transmission or storage method is completely secure. Payment collection should be handled through a compliant payment processor; do not email or text us a full card number, card security code or PIN. If you believe your information or booking has been compromised, contact us promptly.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal information, object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may unsubscribe from marketing email through its link and from marketing SMS as described in the SMS Terms. Some information must be retained or processed to service a booking or meet legal obligations.
Send a request to [email protected]. We may verify your identity and authority before acting. You may also complain to the privacy or data-protection regulator with authority over your concern.
9. Children
The Platform is not directed to children who book independently. An adult may provide a child traveler’s information when authorized and necessary for travel. We do not knowingly invite children to create accounts or receive marketing.
